Despite intense critics on the hyper consumption society, we are still experiencing its very beginning, with the most likely scenario being expansion across the globe. Neither ecological protests nor new, more sober models of consumption nor collaborative consumption will be enough to stop or even delay the extremely rapid development of the commodification of experiences and life styles.
